I just snagged a second set of humbuckers for the Super-Sonic from this guy. Scott's been really cool to work with. I won a couple of super cheap eBay auctions and he's taken the time to kind of work with me in terms of winding a pickup specifically for the guitar and my style.

The pair that went into the Vista Jagmaster sound just brilliant. Warm and clear with some of that growl. Just straight in the amp at a low volume clean is just about the perfect tone for me. They really have a cool attack to them. Fingerpicking on the neck pickup is ideal. And they take quite well to tubes and distortion. Turned a dark muddy puddle of poop sound into something world class.

His eBay ID is : strings_guitar Keep an eye out and you might be able to score a set of handwound humbuckers for around $75 before anybody catches on.

Aren't TV Jones made in America? With the Designed by TV Jones models found on lower Gretsch guitars being made oversees.

Icey doesn't care about products made overseas. Those none-USA made TV Jones pickups are probably made with plywood.
