what the title says...or rather will it fit underneath the covers and will the pole pieces line up to the strings right?

Any info would be helpful. Thanx.

I don't think P90s are as wide as Jazzy pups, and since the cover or screws don't directly attach to the pickup, the P90s is liable to rock around inside.

I may well be wrong, but I think this maaaaay be the case.

DO SEYMOUR DUNCAN VINTAGE

Thankx I will secure the p90 underneath, i'm worried its too tall for the cover or the poles aren't the right spacing.

I'd do a vintage bridge, I've got a vintage neck pup, but I really want a Curtis Novak p90 made for the jazzmaster, but the dude doesn't respond to emails. :?

With enough tape anything fits anywhere.

Personally I think he's an overrated Chonstmeister. But just phone him you lazy ape, you don't have a job.

The stock Jazzy pickups are held "up" by foam underneath the pickup rather than the standard spring affair, so a P90 would probably fit no probs in regards to height.

That foam is a pain in the hole.

That it is, spesh for the Quarter Pound- I had to cut some of the foam out for the massive polepieces sticking out of the arse end.

Put some softer, more spongy foam in there to replace it now, works miles better.

I'm not wasting my precious cell minutes to phone him long distance.

I agree he prolly is overratted, thats why I'm thinking of doing some kool p90 instead and just put it underneath the jazzy cover, but I'm unsure of the pole spacing when compaired to a jazzy's.

In every forum I've ever been in, read nothing but good things and satisfied summaries, that's really rare for anybody making pickups, or effects, or guitars, to have such a high rate of satisfied customers and no issues.

I tried to get this page to work so I could hear it before I bought it, but it wouldn't work. Your link works though. Thanks. :D

I'm going with the Charlie Christian style P90 bridge.

The vintage does sound nice.

And to answer my own question of this threads title...Yes p90's will fit under the cover but the pole pieces will have to be routed out on the cover, they are a hair off in a couple spots. But it could work in the neck.
