For Aug/guitar project
I have a 1 piece ash body blank of wood that is burning a whole in my garage. I also have a piece of ebony wood that should make a nice fretboard. Are you interested in a project for some $. I am thinking of a Jagmaster style guitar....2 humbuckers but the longer fret scale...Or maybe a tele custom style guitar. If you are, I will try to narrow down what I want done. I just am wondering if you are even interested.

So, here is what I am thinking....Tele custom style with p90 (or phat cat) in the neck and a SD qtr pounder or similiar in the bridge. Ebony fretboard and solid 1 piece ash body. I am not overly particular about bridge (but string through), saddles, tuners...Just standard Fender stuff is OK. straplock installed....graphite or bone nut...more vintage neck profile..Think early 70's fenders...Like the original customs but ebony fretboard.......
I can supply the ash blank and the ebony. I can also either order parts or you can if you have better connections (probably).
For finish I was thinking a worn/aged white, but am not set on anything. Maybe even natural.
What would be a ballpark with me sending the wood and you getting the rest of the stuff.....

I reckon vintage white and tort is as good as it gets, but I'm biased

I'll respond when things settle down and you decide on exactly what you are after. I'm diggin' on the Jazzmaster idea, though.mickie08 wrote:That is ecatly what I need... (except for the sunburst....Maybe Surf Green with matching headstock.....No....Vintage (aged) white.....maybe....Any suggestions..
So I want to go for the Jazzmaster with the Fender wide rang pickups. I love the look of the blocked and bound neck, but that may be too much for you guys to do? Not sure. I am fine with a more plain neck too. What is the dimensions for a Jazzmaster body. It would be OK to get a neck, or have you guys build it yourself... Let me know either way. Also, I am in so cal, so I can drop stuff off to you if it works better than sending all the stuff via mail.. Matter of fact, I will be in LA on Monday if you want me to drop off the body blank and the piece of ebony for fretboard... Feel free to PM me for more details....
