Seriously how much coke has that guy done. He's constantly swallowing the phlegm that is dripping down his throat.

i dunno man, the looks, the fucking looks... they KILL, it won't be versatile, but it's special with the anniversary.... fuck i don't know what to do, more info will be released soon, i want to know the price first then make up my mind

could just stick with fuzz pedals and distortion boxes but it'll be a pity, want distortion from the amp, i need cleans too

Dude, the looks are like 1% of an amp.
I seriously would go for an amp with two channels. Just go for the Rocker or the AD30HTC.

it's gonna be assfuck expensive too. I'd want more from my coin.

trewth, i realise that, rocker 30 will be a more versatile amp... i've always loved it and know it, it'd be stupid to just fall for the looks of an amp, i don' t know how they recorded the sound in that vid, no idea what it sounds like IRL

not the coming week but the week after that i have a week off, ... could order my rockah next week so it'll arrive when i'm home....

Sorry, thought you knew it was single channel else I would have said!
I'd love to have one still!
But Mike's right, if you want amp distortion and a clean channel, without pedals it's the Rocker or AD30TC.
I reckon the OR50 will be more expensive than either of those anyway.

Kim - I forget, have you tried a Rocker30?
I just ask because there's no eq on the clean channel.
Having said that - I loved the sound of it, and I pretty much have the eq at noon on my clean on the RV50...

yeah, tried it lots, keep going back to the store but i know the people so they're ok with me testing the amp but never buying it lol

i love the fact that the clean only has a volume knob yes, and the distortion sounds harsher than the ad (to me anyway) so i like that too

price of the OR50 was said to be around 1500 dollars but i heard that from a guy at the orange forum who works for orange so it might be in the rockerverb or even thunderverb50 price range, not sure, if it would have had two channels i prolly would've done it.

Nice.
I preferred the Rocker OD as well.
If I could get away with a single channel amp - I'd be sorely tempted to give the OR50 a go!
I thought it would be in the RV50 price range...shame.

Rocker = more edgy and modern

AD30 = more vintage style

in my opinion of course.

That's the guy who demo'd the Oranges at Namm last year, he doesn't talk nearly enough to be on coke. He might be coming down from an all-nighter, I'll give you that. The last interview went something like

-What guitar are you using there?
-Orange Junior [Orange Les Paul Jr].

-How many tubes does the amp have?
-2.

-What kind?
-34's.

bingo.

you know, if you got really good with manipulating your volume knob while playing, you could probably get pretty good results with that amp. thats how i rock the ac30 most of the time. i have it cranked pretty hard and i just use my volume knob.
rich people say fuck yeah hey hey

Dude seriously.

Once you go one channel, it's awesome and you don't want to go back.

I just stay on the clean channel on the Blue Voodoodoo and it's great.
