General Gear Question..
not sure where to post this, but it is a GEAR related question, so yaeh
as of right now, heres the gear i've got
Standard Squire Stratocaster
Squire Tele [HH, coil tapping, made of red ceadar]
and a Fender Frontman 15g
a Boss MT-2 and 4 Danelectro pedals that bleed through and suck tone
heres my situation
im not in a band or gigging, but mainly a hobby player at the moment
the tele is shit, honestly, its really neat, but not for me.
should i
1] get a JB pickup for the tele to liven things up
If i later would sel it i would keep the JB and put it in a strat or whatever else i would buy
2] sell the tele and get a epi LP [an upper doller one]
3] sell the tele and the 15g amp and get a nice amp
i have no idea where i want to go with this, i would really like a nicer amp seeing as how the Frontmans are nice for starters, but eventually get boring...
think anyone can help me out or give me some advice?
any help would be amazingly awesome! =D

If I were you, I'd upgrade the amp before anything else.
I'd sell the tele and the Frontman (I used to have one. It hasn't been turned on since I bought a new amp) and buy a decent amp. My advice is to find the right amp regardless of price. It's worth saving to have the right amp I reckon.
Having bought a new fantastic amp, I would then set about improving the strat as economically as possible. Ultimately, this means new pickups. Try GFS, they're cheap and (supposedly) great, although I've never used them.
You can spend years tinkering with the guitar, trying new things. You can't with an amp. A cheap amp can't really be improved in the same way.
FINALLY:
Buy another tele. They rock.

I think this thread is basically becoming tele porn.
