I think the gold top isnt that ugly, I especially like the P90s, I was thinking about the Epiphone, cause the Gibson is waaay off my budget.

from the look of it there's 2 extra frets. So yeah it looks like the idea is that played open it would be in drop D but it would be in effect normal for fretted bar/power chords
