I may. It's on my watch list.bubbles_horwitz wrote:i probably could, but there are people here much better at that sort of thing than i. filtercap could probably school us all on his knowledge of silverface fenders.
are you gonna buy it? if you do, i'd like to have a look at it.
I think these amps are fairly straigth forward. I can't imagine too much is wrong with it.....

The Fender Amp Field Guide is one of the best li'l amp resources on the Intern Etz.bubbles_horwitz wrote:it looks like someone left it out in the rain. for a while.
the fender amp field guide has schematics and such, so it should be pretty easy to fix.
They're basically selling a chassis, a couple knobs, and a pair of transformers. If those xformers work okay, that would be a decent deal. The buyer will likely be replacing most everything else anyway. Getting a similar chassis + transformers new might be $120 - $150. Rust & corrosion.... priceless.
EDIT: I forgot, there's a third transformer that's used as an oddball phase splitter. So maybe it's $150-$180 for new chassis + transformers.... If you can find a new equivalent for the phase-splitter anymore. ??
