They're not bad - the neck doesn't feel authentic, though. It's a skinny and flat Ibanez neck, not the big baseball bat vintage jobbers.

How 'bout NOS?

I'm really impressed by Ibanez these days. Even their Logo is changing which says a lot because in the marketing world, your brand is everything.

The company's design has been going through some positive renovations. If you look at the Jet Kings and hollow bodied Artcore series it seems as if Ibanez is going for the more organic approach which is way different than what I remember Ibanez from the late 90s. This is demonstrated more strongly in their new acoustic model shown below.

EDIT TIME!

Still, it goes well with their new approach.

Ibanez has always been a cool company, it's just that when the Nu-Metal thing was big they went overboard with the wank sticks cause that was driving the market for them. But even back then they had the Talman series.

We all know that's not true.

Ibanez has always had great quality, but they have always built copies of other people stuff. To me, that's not a big deal, cause that's what Japanize companies have always done. I really like the Jetking. It's an aweful lot like the old Kays and Teisco's and all those other interesting Jap guitars that morfed American surfer shapes. I didn't know they reissues that guitar. It's cheep too! 189? I'd hit that!
