It doesn't give a price. The only good tort is red tort, unless it's for making Fender picks. You can change the knobs. Sorta do want.

okay, its a 96 mij jag, sd humbucker single coil thingy in bridge, tune o matic, gibson knobs, and a crappy soft case (no hardshell).

i dunno, is it worth $500? i guess its a 50th anniversary model, but i dunno.

what do you guys think?

$500 seems ok. but sunburst jags only if you must. i know, i'm guilty of owning one. but not a day goes by that i don't toy with the idea of refinishing it.

stock with some "minor" upgrades, i woulda sold it to ya for 625.00 shipped.
but there is something deffinitly sexy aboutwhite with tort.
500 isn't that bad of a deal i supose, as long as those are mods that you would like to have anyway.
and plus the 96 issues have copper shielding plates like the av jags.

im not good at painting, so i doubt i will refin. i dont even know if im gonna buy it. we shall see. finding offset cases that dont cost your first born child is hard. i STILL use a gig ba for my jagmaster.

That's the same colour scheme and mods that my jag has (right down to SG tophat style knobs, not the same but still gibson). I even have a black JB Jr in there. I was far luckier with my tort though, it's dark as fuck.

for some reason i have never had a problem getting any of my offsets to fit in a case,
i got a morgon monroe tweed case for 50 bucks that i kept my av jaguar in whenever i gigged it out, and i know it was also able to hold a jazzmaster kit that i made.

$500 is a great deal any way you spin it, esp. 'cuz the guy would probably not turn down $450 if you showed up with cash in hand.

You could probably find someone to swap you a proper bridge for the TOM & a proper pickup for the SD skinny-bucker and it'd be a wash getting it back into fighting condition.

And I WILL buy the red tort from you right quick if given the opportunity.
