RobOg did soberb job on the body..no contours at all.. :D
The gold control plate and truss rod cover are from a sheet of brass I picked up at Ace hardware.Cut them up and polished them. There's also a brass control plate on the back. And it now has flat gold pup ring on top of the black ring.

RobOg is inspiration to get things done.I think these look better than a lot of the shite you can pick off the shelves.

Got a Jazzy body from RobOG in December. I live in an apartment, and I'll be painting on my balcony. Which means I have to wait until the weather warms up and the snow melts... :( sadly the waether doesn't look like it will get nicer any time soon...

I just started on my chambered jazz body that robert sold me back in nov. I took it to work thursday and drilled 3 big holes in it to shake out a bunch of broken off wood filler that had came loose and was rattling around int here. I covered the holes with 934 aircraft sealant and let it cure over the weekend. I will sand it down and bondo it and paint it this next week.

I would imagine as soon as this weather breaks there's going to be a lot of bodies getting painted..I have the red hollow that needs a clear coating to seal the pinup. And some necks and bodies..etc..And bass fishing heats up in April. **happy**
I painted the diddley in between snow storms out in my mudroom with the windows open..Desperation will do that to a man sometimes.

Every time I see this picture it makes me want to build something similar. That guitar is beautiful.

thanks. It still has a few issues but I am gonna take it in this week hopefully to get everything re-wired and a good setup done on it.

Are you going to leave the neck the way it is? I think it would look really nice if it was refinished in the vintage tinted laquer, but those Mexican necks just feel so good that I don't know if I would mess with it.

It would look good tinted, but I probably won;t mess with it. We will see. Maybe later
