Awesome!
How does the amp sound? I'm sure it sounds amazing, but I've never played through a Gibson amp, so I'm curious.

am i the only one bothered by guitar pictures referred to as "porn"?
it's like when people in big crowds (maybe leaving a stadium or something) start making cow noises. i mean, yeah, i see the similarity. but really, it's just so damn heavy-handed and obvious. it doesn't really need pointing out.

Meanwhile, back in reality...
that's a really nice creamy color. I tried buying a Mustang like that when I was young.

that amp in particular has a circuit that was only used in '55, and only for a small run of amps. its pretty damn rare, and we got it for free. wahoo.
it sounds pretty freaking amazing. the overdrive is just so good. its hard to explain.
LOL. man mike. if a thread about a guitar isnt thread worthy in the "Guitars" forum, then no more threads about "sodding" football. jeez.
ANYWAY.
yeah justin, it looks even better in person.

Yeah I know. The one I wanted was actually from the 60s, and I had the misconception that because it was old I could get it for cheaps haha.

What is teh point of the thread? Did you just buy it or something? If so a few details of price or how might be nice.
And no football in the pub? You really should think some arguments through before typing them. or maybe just call Shad and make another thread.
Also this, I believe, would be closer to pornography:

i just said it cuz i hate football. JOS KEDEEEN.
yeah i originally took the picture for a thread about mustang's on HC, but i thought i would share.
the pic you just posted, however, is boner madness. but i like the '69 better cuz of the countours and tummy cut
but the '65 is still awesome. love those black robroes.

That's not even soft porn really. You need to see up close details, guts shots as well.
But the reissues are rather boring inside. And that colour annoys me the longer I have it.

Didn't have much choice really. It's either Sonic blue or Vintage White. Once I have refinishing skills it's going to be painted Dakota or Fiesta red.

The sonic blue ones came with the same Tort didn't they? It looks too dark to me.
Anyway, I'm boring and prefer flat white pickguards most of the time. My Mustang will have a tort one that Robert made me but it's going to be crisp white so the contrast will be nice.
