How about $30,000 / £15,000 for that EVH guitar Replica?

Yeah that's right, that is the unused 5 way selector shoved in teh middle pickup route, and the teh neck pickup is unconnected. SO DUMB.

Uggh. Make the internet 10 years faster, get EVH to off himself and add 800% fanboy power, and we'd all be posting on UglyTapedUpMostlyTakenApartStratWithRegularScale.com

The stickers would look so less cool too.

On the topic of Kramer. I found an old strat knock at this girl's house. Apparently it's her dad's, but it had to be the most accurate looking knock I had ever seen. It even had the Strat headstock, it was wild.

We've never had an EVH at our store, but people I know in the company who've played them tell me they don't know how EVH played that guitar the way he did, and just proves that while he was his own tech, he was a rather shitty one. It's really not user friendly at all, the pickup isn't even grounded right.

My jagmaster's like that though, and I like it. I can play it fine, and there are things I would do with that guitar that I don't think I could do with any others, but I doubt anyone else could really get it to work at all.

I've never actually looked closely at the EVH Strat. I wish I hadn't that thing is fucking nasty, why anyone would want a replica is beyond me, it has no mojo whatsoever.
