My drum chum did the kickdrum head in the other day while we were recording. No, with his foot; the coroner put the stick there for the police file.
Pity, because everything was sounding so good. We were probably on the "keeper" take, and wanted to wrap up in time to crash a party downtown. So it was like, ooops. Too bad. Party time.

I should have taken a picture of the hugeass pile of broken drumstick near the drums over here. It was crazy.
