Got an email from MF that the had sent me:

" 1 GIFT CERTIFICATE 100.00

for cancelling my Epi Slash LP order. So,what should I spend this on?Are there any cheap guitars($100)worth buying?

Maybe a Shell Pink Squier Bullet?

save it for when they have a better guitar on a stupid closeout, and combine for mega savings.

Ok,I got my Squier Bullet Stratocaster today. Now I got this guitar because MF gave me $100 gift certificate because the couldn't get a guitar I had preordered,so basically it is a free guitar. This guitar plays very well and sounds even better than I had thought it would. It is definetly better than any of the higher priced squiers I have seen(although,I haven't seen the Deluxe yet) and the fret work is better than the MIM Fenders("rolled edges" on the Bullet!).It feels and sounds like a "real" strat,it really does.Sounds so good through my Vox.
Ok,but here is where there is a problem,on the upper left side of the bass horn ,under the clearcoat ,there is a small spot about 1/8" X 1/32" where they missed when they painted. You can see it in the picture below.

Anyway,I really like this guitar but do you think I should send it back and get another one?Right now all the Bullets are sold out and it maybe a couple of months before the get more so maybe I will wait before I send it back. What would you guys do?send it back or keep it.

I would just keep it. I mean, the thing was pretty much free, and I'm sure it won't be the last ding that it sees.

Looks really great, otherwise! Great score!

If it feels good, stays in tune, sounds good through a Vox, and still says Squier on the headstock, then I say you've got one probably worth keeping. Congrats.
