yeah i agree, waaaay too expensive.
i would definately get like a bobkat or a rebel if they were in the 200-500 range maybe.
the bobkat should be 300 at most, not 800.

I was looking at the 3-PUP rocket til I saw the price
My local store has an NOS 1972 Rebel with case for $550 - no way I'd think about a reissue.

They had to make proprietary new PUPs, hardware, and knobs, so I guess they can justify it that way. The new ones are probably much better construction wise, as well
They'll probably all be on clearance for half price within a year or so.

I hope DuoSonicBoy is right about seeing them on clearance, I'd really like to have a Rebel.
