I picked this shit up for $56 on baze
Image
The body looks like it was hit by a belt sander and the thrown off a building. The headstock was set on fire.
I already cleaned up the HS pretty good, but this will end up being a painted neck and HS.I filled the trem cavity with chunks of scrap wood and epoxy.I have no idea what this is going to turn out to be.But it was cheap enough. The tuners and PG are in good shape, but I'm not going to be using them on this project.
If I make any progress with it,I'll post pics.

I should run it through the woodchipper then glue it all back together as a birdhouse.

haha. That's always an option. I like making fresh new bodies cause they are SOOOOOOO much easier then refinishing. Refinishing someone else's mess is another degree of difficutly. Of course, it can be done. It's gonna take a whole lota primer and blocksanding. You know how to do it. It's nothing new for you!

and hell, it's half off there already. Use an electric sander and you could be done in less than an hour. New bodies are easier if you HAVE them.
