That looks nice, but you probably won't like the switch in between the knobs...I had that setup with some EMGs at one point (ironically it was on a blonde strat with tort pg) and I know I didn't like it. Also curious, why the big variation in output between the two pickups?

lower output = quieter?
easier to keep clean
a 5k will stay clean easier than a 18k [p-rail lol] pickup

Well, sure. I was just thinking, in terms of volume, that there might be a difference between the two pickups. But it's probably negligible.

I'm doing a strat body with the dupli-color desert sand right meow. I'll show you some pics when I'm done.

cheaper idea

fixed bridge will be about 41 bucks , ferrules is plus 3 or 4 buckshttp://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpiece ... ridge.html

yet tremolo is about 61 bucks or more ...

perl is cheaper than tortoise also
even more cheap paint will be white .... exemple olympic white

dont use cheapo tunners , if you like klusons get gotoh klusons , you dont want your guitar going out of tune , and dont put plastic nut , goes bone its 1 buck more expensive yet more classy

1 vol and 1 switch is more styled , 1 tone , 1 vol , 1 switch looks like on super strats :lol:
exemple jackson , jackson love use 1 ton 1 vol and 1 switch :lol:

Lipsticks = 250k pot and .22 tone , don´t do .47

my idea
