The reviews say it sounds like the Mode II on a Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion

i've seldom played any genre-specific pedals that have been any good.
still, for $30 it might be worth it.

The two gems in that series of Ibanez pedals as far as dirt boxes were the Fuzz(big muff variation) and the Cyberdrive.

I never tried that one though, or the "trash metal".

I have a thrashmetal that I will sale to anyone for $10.

I remember trying a trashmetal based on Kevin Shield's stuff - they're obnoxious.

My second pedal ever. It's a piece.

My 2nd pedal was the DOD supra distortion- TOTAL CRAP! It rings everytime your not playing it and it sounds like poopy

one of the guitarists in LE had like a whole ibanez pedals setup, but modulation fx only, they all sucked ass as in boring, sterile, tonesuckzorz


crappy pedals work for dirt sometimes, it depends, also depends a lot on the amp you're using i found, the bass player had this dod gonkulator or something he wanted to mess around it, it was kinda cool but sucked lots of volume and made everything muddy..too bad because it could be a cool pedal you know, just not live, you need to be able to mix it with another sound

oh and speaking of genre pedals lol my first distortion pedal was a boss metalzone, i actually used it on bass for this one song because it sounded really tight, bassy and well, distorted, i shouldnt've sold it.

Made me lol lots.
