WTF fuck this it looks stupid has a TOM and i'm pretty sure will eliminate you being able to use the buzzstop, which i'm positive will work better in increasing sustain and angle of break.

the ONLY improvement i can see is
an improved neck pocket with increased back-angle
an thats nothing shimming a neck couldn't already do

They could have done much better. They fucked the Jags and Jazzmasters shit all up.

The Olympic White HH doesnt look to bad. The only thing that looks dumb is the placement of the bridge plate.

i have honestly had no problems with my 66 jazzmaster, with a mustang bridge.... none i don't want sustain with my jazzmaster. that's not the sound i am going for, if i did i would have gotten a guitar with better sustain.

but i understand the appeal, i just think it should be like $200 cheaper

Sustain isn't my issue. It's that I can attack my fucking telecaster. I mean assault it with a pick. Ain't no strings jumping ship on my telecaster. When rmy particularly violent brand of ock intensity approaches 8 or 9, the strings go bye bye on my JM.

But, hey, I loved the sound for everything up to that point, and I am all about jazzmasters and jags, the just dont fit into my MO right now.

I think it's good. It's another option,a nd there is already the CIJ line and MIA for people who want trad stuff. I am not the biggest Fender fan, but I do have to say that Fender can't win with some people no matter what they do.

These are so different in what i think is a cool way. They updated them to be more rocking. I wonder if the changes will work.

I would totally hit this, if it played well.

wait, i guess the tremolo is closer to the bridge to improve string break angle. good? possibly.

i wanna play one to see how awesome.
