I'm currently using my guitar amp but keeping my eyes open for a cheap HH VS Bass combo (100W) - missed one a couple of weekends ago at £32. Also thinking of putting preamps on a couple of solid-state slaves I built back in the 70s.
the cheap gallien krueger, behringer, harley benton, hartke stuff is still like 200 euros for a top that will only give 150watts through an 8ohm cab which sucks
but yeah, something solidstate, i'm not picky, as long as it handles a bass guitar and can keep up with a loud drummer it's fine, maybe i need to check out some pa amplification or something ...those things like kustom amps (mainly vocals amps ?) are cheap and have built in reverb too lots of time, can't find any right now on the secondhandmarket here which sucks
