ooo, so mini hums are almost a direct fit in these things?

good to know, although I'm also pretty fond of the stock pickups.

Thing is, I'm not sure if it sounded crap because the artec pickup is cheap and useless, or if sounds like any other mini hummer and it'd sound just as bad with a duncan antiquity mini humbucker. I'm not even sure the les paul deluxe pickup would mount correctly in this guitar. I'm not paying Â£70 to find out anyway.
