anyone played through one?
Im quite taken. reckon it would be awesome for recording/bedroom playing but they seem devilishly expensive.

A few years ago it seemed much more worthwhile. Now there are so many low wattage tube amps that the price seems a little high. If you get one on ebay you can probably sell it for the same as the second hand demand is certainly there, so you can't really lose much in trying one out for a few weeks.

The problem with that amp is that it's crushingly expensive and is ONLY a recording amp. Amps like the Tiny Terror etc. are great because they double as practise amps that can attain nice throaty overdrive.
