I was finishing my degree when this all happened, so not posting much, but from what I know apparently he rocked up and gave it the big "I am" about having custom painted Fenders and being endorsed and that, and got all pissy when people said his guitars were ugly and that his music was shite and poncy.

Then he cried and ran away.

At least, taht's what I understand of it. He ruined many Jaguars in the name of his disgusting band.

He posted pictures of himself in a fender warehoue (or a warehouse that stocked guitars) picking up his 'custom fenders' wearing an arm sock and huge sunglasses. I think that and the arrogance he had for his shit band was what annoyed people the most. The guitar opinions were a bit of a mixed bag, I think they look cool, and I'm pretty sure a fair few others did. It was a definite marmite split.

I wish I was endorsed.

I would try hard to avoid the arm sock even in that event though.

I don't like his guitars because they go along with that whole "proto-futuristic-emo-rock" thing which I think is even dafter than metal.

the one dude in his band played a Keytar that was painted white and red.

i think the Keytar had an armsock on the Keetar strap too.....

they kinda dressed up like they were medical doctors from Final Fantasy VII going to a Cosplay convention
