Amp cover

Post by riotshield »

I am looking for a soft case style cover for my newly acquired amp. i mainly want to protect it from dust and everything else that could harm it while sitting in studio or at home and also while being transported in car for live shows.
i was looking for something in that style

which was first search result on ebay. if you have any other site suggestions or ways i could make my own cheaper than 30pounds that this one costs feel free to share.
thanks

get some fabric and make one yourself ? can't be that hard

i've never used amp covers, just put a blanket over it

there's this guy making nice looking covers and selling them on ebay but i think they're way too pricey...

those padded softcovers are a life saver. i NEED one for my vibro king. some chump carried it and whacked it into a brick wall, putting a tiny hole in my surf green tolex.

i'd spend 60 on a padded soft cover with protective bottom like those tuki covers. but i think tuki brand are 80+

What amp did you get?

I have a soft Marshall case which velcros underneat the head for my amp. The Cab just gets transported in a Vinyl dust cover.

i got a vox ac15h1tv, which - in not robot language - is the handwired version of the latest vox ac15 reissues. its amazingly great and exactly what i was looking for. the difference between CC1(X) and handwired version is immense. actually its just different amp with different tubes and feel, not a trick for point to point target market.
its pure vox.
