Paint removed from under the bridge plate (like on EJ strat) for better tone transfer.
You telling me this person can actually hear a difference?

I love that - take the paint off under the bridge for better tone, but don't change out the shitey mexi PUPs.

Actually those PUP's sound really nice, I had the same guitar in Daphne Blue and believe me, there's nothing shitty about them PUP's.
