i thought the jazzmaster was for keeps.
you should've at least got a custom instead.

Thanks for the posts guys. This is 2001 Les Paul Standard. It had just come in to my local music store. Some old guy sold them this guitar and a black SG.Both were in near mint condition and all original. Both had the cool brown and pink cases. This has the 490R 498T pickups and Grover tuners as original equipment. It's just a little heavier than my Studio.

I have the same case for my SG, it's awesome! Nice looking LP too! I don't think I'd trade a jazzy for it but it looks nice either way.

What did the Jazzmaster look like? I don't remember it. Someone might have traded with you if you had posted a request up :!:

This is the Jazzmaster. The Les Paul was $1250 so the store gave me $1050 in credit for my Jazzmaster(I had paid $1047 for it).I think it was a fair deal.I took this picture when the store let me take the Les Paul home for the weekend to try out.

The funny thing is when I brought them the Jazzmaster on Monday I saw that they had just gotten in a Blonde 1963 Tremolux like this on only it had the single 10" cab($1200).The guy who loaned Lennon the Jazzy had the same amp as below. If I had kept the Jazzmaster I would so want that amp.

So, how do you feel about the sound difference? Moving from P90s to humbuckers?

Jazzmasters don't have P90's.
