The pickguard turned out really nice. I like the fatness of it when compared to a normal strat.

And u just used the Reranch tinted clear and nothing else, right?

no, i used the stew mac tint(too yellow for my liking)
and then LOADS of clear, then i had to sand off the shitty grizzley stuff, and use LOADS more clear.
as i remember the headstock looked amazing(only stew mac clear)
and the board looked decent(re-ranch and stew mac)
and the back looked ok.
there were some small dents that i couldn't do much about, but it still turned out ok.

there is this part of the neck on the lower edge where the frets come out on the High E side of the egde of the back of the neck.
take a guitar and make an open EM or an AM chord...its right where the pudgy parts of you fingers go. its fucking a tiny bit lighter than the rest. like ive been playing it for 10 years already. its fucking amazing. i know it wasn't even on purpose but its like total attetion to detail if you were commisioned to do a light relic job for someone.
i just got back from PA with 100 dollars worth of fireworks and 2 packs of .12's
stringing it up right now

the frets just look like frets. they are vintage size from on a 1996 mexican neck. you just spray junk over the whole thing and then the poly scrapes off the metal parts easy. he didn't do a re fret or anything
