The input one is a 100n/0.1uF ceramic box cap with a 1M resistor to ground either side of it. The output one from the 3rd FET stage is a 1uF electrolytic.

Basically I took the Box of Rock circuit and slice it off at the output coupling cap after I built the original output filter stage and wasn't impressed by it, the design is too bass heavy to not have a bass control on it, I added the classic Marshall tone stack after that and they marry up quite well I think.

Here's the schematics I made it from:

Like I say, I connected the output of the 1uF coupling cap ...

to this...

and then connected that to a 1M output pot for Master Volume.

So it goes GAIN -> EQ -> VOLUME.

Word, dude. I think I'm going to up the cap values in Shiva before I put her out. RIght now it's .1uf on both ends, but it hasnt got quite the BOOM I want, and there's some of that really awful fuzz sizzle on top. It doesnt come through on darker/weaker amps but on the twin its a little itchy.

I absolutely HAT the fuzz sizzle.

OK, I stripboarded it, and I'm drilling the case for it tomorrow.

If anyone wants to buy it I don't mind selling it, or I'll keep it, I'm easy either way. A handpainted BoR costs - £209, a mass produced Vexter one costs - £129. If someone was willing to part with £70-£80 I can paint up the case whatever colour you want and finish off the pedal. The case will look like the Orange Peel I made in terms of knob layout etc. Just wondering if anyone is interested, I'll crosspost in Classifieds. This kind of one-off sell or keep work is what I'm going to be doing from now on for a while, just having fun and if someone wants teh outcome, then all the better. I'm working on a project for Hurb next.

Are you gonna drop my name in all your dem? Guess I really did hit a soft spot.

Anyways, cool pedal. Maybe I'll get one from you one of these days.

Ever make trem pedals? I'd like one with a mono in and stereo out that total silent. Mine's a good one, but kinda noisy.

For a man who doesn't like my videos you sure do spend a lot of time watching them.
Your time would be better spent filling the orders you've received money for.

MUCH LOVE.

I wired meself a BYOC Marshall Shredmaster clone that doesn't sound too far. Although I am currently waiting for Rochelle to finish paintin' that mess. The sound of it doesn't vary MUCH from the high end Box of Rock, especially with my clone's similliar 3 band EQ but man it really is a great sound and a great project.
