i saw that a few days and i started watching it, i got disgusted when it passed the 300.00 mark(the 35.00 shipping)
i bet with some tlc it would awsome.
the bridge saddles scare me, and the pups are nasty as hell!
i have been waiting for a good one to come along for about 6 or 7 years now. they are super rare in this color. only a couple come up a year. the longer i wait the more expensive they get. this thing looks like it was played by the sweatiest man alive. (or mike)

I have faith in you, man, you'll find it!
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus
Depending on how much it goes for that could be a good fixer upper. It really wouldn't be hard to make it look pretty sweet... get rid of the gold, and get saddles that aren't rusted to fuck and actually match.
I think robroe should get dibs, since he thinks of Vista Jagmasters as an "excalibur" guitar. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, but when I think of excalibur, I imagine finding a 1959 blonde Jazzmaster with gold guard in perfect condition with the original case and accessories). But hey, the man loves his shortscales in surfy colors!
Pittsburgh Guitars is a great store, they have good deals all the time and the workers/owners are very friendly. I bought my old Jag HH from them for $450, and got my AVRI Jazzmaster for $1100. (It was like brand new, save for a minor ding on the back from shipping! They even repaired the ding, haha) They often get Telecaster Deluxes in for $450, and Standard Fenders for like 200-250. Sometimes they even sell Mustang RIs for $400-450.
I'm not sure what their shipping policy is, but I bet they'd be willing to ship it out. I keep an eye on their inventory so if they have anything cool posted I'll keep you guys updated. $225 for a Jagmaster is a pretty good deal.
That Explorer is at a horrible price... I know of one for like 500...
All stores are like that, good deals, no deals, and rip offs.
