Can I has elitist offsetguitars membership?

kinda had to dip into my investment/school savings for it, but I'm damn close to graduation so i think I'm safe.

OH MY FUCKING BENDING HELL! :D:D:D YES it was worth it! :D:D Haha, I was a little puzzled when Roachello said something about stealing your shell pink Bass IV or something, wondering why it hadn't been mentioned, or whether I'd missed something big D:

Oh crikey! That is bloody beautiful! 'grats! Bring it to San Fran if you're still coming? >.< rofl

That's beautiful mate. I hope you enjoy her!
How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking? And that's definitely one hell of a graduation present! Hopefully I can muster up something like that when I finally graduate so as to justify what all the studyin' was for 'cos I'm destined to be a maccas bitch for the rest of my life anyway :P

So did you commission this from the Custom Shop yourself or find it in a shop?

I can't stop looking at it. I wouldn't think it'd work with a tort guard (I'd opt for mint) but god damn!

The Music Zoo had it readily available. And it wasn't sunburst! I was drawn to it, man. The cost was still ridiculous, though.

I'd have definitely gone for mint, but the tort works too. It's like a sexy valentine's bass VI

They are crazy expensive, but it's an incredibly unique guitar and it's exactly your style.

holy crap! you have to let me play it sometime.
i've only played one once in my life and it was a blonde '63 at hollywood guitar center for $10,000. i'd like to hear what they sound like through pedals and stuff.

FINALLY. Sort of proud to say I more than just touched it upon arrival, half of me wanted to suggest that the Swing Hailey Guitar Curio should be now closed to the public for accepting such an awesome instrument.

Many moons of joy, my friend.

Likely to differ if specs determine such, but I believe we can take an educated guess. [/treads lightly]

Yeah, I was thinking $3K, that's what the one from Musiciansfriend in wank sunburst costs.

It would probably be £3K over here, but at the exchange rate £1.5K is a whole lot more guitar than you could get from PRS or Gibson for that money. And UNIQUE.
