my first question was why is jack black doing gear demos?
second was is this really jack black or some dude that just sounds like jack black and has all his vocabulary mannerismz like me. "knobbys, coliey cord"...and such
then i figured why bother, this is awesome.

Curious. I wonder why they sound different, I'm guessing some components are different. This may make people question ZVex's honesty...

I don't think Black has chops like that, makes OD pedals or has time to make pedal demos.
Just a soundalike who won't put it to rest since it gives him loads of hits.

yeah that doesn't sound like jack black. at least not jack black movie/tv persona!
that vexter sounds icky, even before i heard the painted one. i want to hear them in person first before i pass judgement.

build more*!
*(when you get the chance)
Someone should email Zvex about this though... see what his take is. I'm sure with tweaking you could get the same sounds from either of them, but it is odd how at the same settings they sound quite a bit different. It's not really that the Vexter sounds -worse-, but there should be consistency between the two.
