Satellite Guitar

My friend has this crazy cool "Satellite" guitar. It's actually a really nice, it looks really new, but it resembles some sort of Teisco guitar or something else. It's a 24" scale, it's got one of those dodgy Bigsby copy things (the plate with the spring under it), two toggle switches (one for each P90 style pickup) and two knobs. It looks far too new to be for real, so it's either a perfect vintage specimen, or some crazy company is making these guitars recently. Anyone heard of it?

No way was that a Satellite.
I have found the Telecaster version of my friend's Strat influenced Satellite on eBay, and I'm so going to snipe it and win it and reunite them. My friend got his for £30, I am so going to buy it off him.

I had one, it was shit.
Bought it for £12, sold for £24, so at least I made enough for a couple of pints.

Yeah it was, they're shit and always have been. They were like the Woolworths guitar in 1975 or something, in comparison, the Argos 'Encore' Strat is like a Fender american custom shop model.

Yep, shite. My mate had a Satellite LP as his first guitar and it was awful. He replaced it with a Sunn Mustang strat after playing my Marlin Sidewinder.
Three pretty pony 80's brands there...
Woolies guitars, however, can be fantastic; last year I did up my friend's Woolies special, which I think was made by Tiesco.

hahaha, my mate's first guitar was a black satellite LP, he played that guitar for years!! this was back in the early 80's before you could get nice cheap squiers and epi's....I'm happy to report he's moved onto better things now.

I love how that vid has a popular soundtrack. Doogfest looked like crazyawesomefun.
Did anyone keep the remains or did it end up in a bin? like in memoriam or something.

google Fender Satellite amp and do your homework for today.
its actually a giant FX peddal with a amp and a speaker in it pointed out the side. you cant use it stand alone. you have to use it in your regular amp's FX loop. it adds makes your sound 360 degrees when set up correctly and adds more wattage to your existing set up.
its fucking sweet.
