YAY bassman. My little brother has one. When he goes to ecuador to study next year I'm taking it from him. Then I'll have 3 fucking bassmans. I'm going to have stereo delay and action and then another one just for good measure. I will completly drown out the rest of the band people in the audience will probably be knocked unconcious by my sonic onslaught

argh, i sold my awesome 72 bassman ten in a fit of stupidity. i needed money. SHOULDA SOLD ORGANS.
anyway, i picked up a 1976 bassman 50 stack a while ago. didnt gel to well with it, so im selling it and im picking up a 59 bassman reissue tomorrow.

with this setup I'd have 94" of speaker powered by 150 tube watts of vintage fender bassman tonez

sounds cool. needs new tubes and a clean up. i really dig it. it sounds really cool with the superfuzz and my fulldrive. WORLDS better than my bassman 50. no regrets.

thats what i was thinking. it is pretty dirty and its not lacquered or anything. i guess just because its not sealed and its just fabric thats essentially glued to the cabinet, it picks dirt up easily.
i was thinking of cleaning it, but im not sure how to go about it. i may just leave it.

I think if you drop the chassis and remove the speakers that like a carpet shampoo and a firm brush will get all that grime and those stains out of it. I would definitely have a go at it if it was me, it looks digusting.

I love it when people treat amps like shit, as long as they don't fuck the electronics up...
My friend jus pick up a 2x12 Peavy combo for like 70 bucks... It was just missing feet and handles (easily replaceable), and sadly a pot is scratchy... But, damn good deal for some one who can fix shit.
