I cleaned the whold thing up last night it looks hot, although I am replacing the pick guard with a MOP, the black one is not the propper size and wont loay flush with the body. The rosewood is beautiful after a little lemon oil.

MOP will look nice, or i really like how brown tort looks on CAR, i had a Jagmaster with that color combo, and it was nice.

mint works well on most colors. unfortunately candy apple red isn't one of them. i tried the red tort from my '62 and it looked great with the CAR. now i have to find out who's still making tortoiseshell that doesn't look like spaghetti sauce.

CAR and balck pickguard always makes me think of my dad rocking his Peavey in 1989.
