Yes yes, I know you'll be slobbering over these:

It appears you can buy a '66 Jazzy RI from Japan. Comes with a Mustang bridge weirdly.

I bought a used Jag from Japan and it also came with a Mustang bridge.

The pickupguard on my AV jazzer is redder than that, but this certainly looks the part.

I hate how they call those 66 reissues. In 66 they would have had blocks and binding with a large headstock.

If it had those things I would have sold one of my cats to buy it.

Fender Japan does them with blocks and binding, but they still don't have the CBS headstock. I can't remember if they offer them in black though. I'm pretty sure they do Sunburst, CAR, LPB, and Olympic White. The guy I got my Guild from is selling a Sunburst CIJ with blocks and binding on offset.

+1, I'd totally sell your cats to buy a blocked and bound black Jazzy.

At least you're not as bad as euan, who is practically trying to kill me every chance he gets with a series of elaborate anvil and pully systems to get his paws on my 6100.

Yeah, that doesn't look right. Maybe it's a threaded collet now with a strat arm? I have no idea, but who knows... they change the bridge. They could have messed with that too.

I giggled quite a bit at this scenario--hapless euan with a long rope. The series of systems caps it.

Like, a tiger or somehting? Or do housecats hold some kind of monetary value over the pond? Because over here, they are fucking free, and stupid.

It's so stupid- it's just a body colour change to my current Jazzy. But it makes me so moist.
Maybe I should just get mine refinned.

Have you tried asking over at offset about swapping the white body for a black one? There are probably a few more JM owners than here, but most of those guys have the AVRI versions or vintage ones I guess. Still worth a shout. The classifieds forum needs 50 posts the same as here so if you haven't got an accountand want me to drop a post for potential interest just ask.
