Hi,
Just wondering of any people have had any experience with them? I've only just come across them and am wondering how much they've been filtering through to the US n UK.
I read a few reviews at Harmo central which give the impression that they're fairly reliable.

I own the Biyang DS-8 Mouse, which is a kind of RAT copy:

Build quality is excellent - built like a tank, and v solid switch. Proper mechnical true bypass as well (it lets the signal through when unpowered). Sounds pretty good, though it's definitely not a RAT. Quite a bit more fuzzy.

Im interested in their analogue chorus and phaser; they seem to be 'borrowing' their circuit designs from either EHX or BYOC, but then adding tweaks. Basically theyre sort of like a higher quality behringer.

Only thing is the price seems to vary on ebay from £25-£60. Personally i wouldn't pay than £30 for one (DS-8 cost me £28 inc P&P), just because they have very little resale value.

Actually their EQ pedal interests me cos IT LIGHTS UP! OOOH PRETTY!

not bad for £35, considering a Danelectro Fish n Chips is £25 and this is proper metal with true bypass.

That's not a check for true bypass. Even old fuzzes that just switch the output will do that.

The only way you can check is to open the thing up, and check the switch and the connections it makes to the circuit and the input and output jacks.

Yes I've been looking at our boy charteeo .
There's a fella selling them on ebay and they seem to be going fiarly cheaply even when the postage is added (for me at least) but there's no garruntee that you'll get the purchase.

if you buy through ebay, ebay/paypal gaurenteed your purchase up to £150. So yeh you're pretty safe if it doesn't turn up.

Mine was 55USD for pedal and worldwide shipping from some a seller in china - so would presumably cost you the same!

The bypass is excellent, no signal alternation so i'll give them the benifit of the doubt considering they advertise as proper "true bypass".

their analogue delay isn't really though - but sounds good, so meh.

I would need to see the reverse of the PCB fragment attached to the switch to tell, but that switch is black. 3PDT switches normally used to perform truebypass and LED lighting are normally blue.

Say aphasiac,
you wouldn't happen to have any sound clips of that DS-8 Mouse? -- I'm super curious about the different sounds that can be got out of it.

PS yeah that EQ is cool. I was holding off on buy an eq, planning to save up for a byoc 10-band but now I'm now sure ... those blinken lights.

Admittedly it was a pretty flippant choice but I didn't think the forums would hold my interest.
Alas I doubt it's possible to change the usrname.

It is. I'm an admin. I could change it in a snip.

Think of a better one, pm me, and we'll get it done.

To be honest it sounds pretty similar to the DS-7. Just listen to charteeo's demo, or this one:

Like i said, it's not really that RAT-like and doesn't do low gain that well. But it does sound pretty good.

8 band is enough i reckon - i think i'd prefer the cool lights and cheaper price over the extra 2 bands
