It's nothing to do with me but I thought you guys should see the beautiful white / gold-alu Musicmaster for sale on the Fender Forum - original, 1958, hard case, $1650.

Plenty of room there to put an EMG by the bridge. Maybe a Floyd Rose too.

they're not particularly attractive, and i'm beginning to regret filling the bridge pickup route in my musicmaster and returning it to stock. i'll never use it. if i want a neck pickup sound i'll probably just switch to said pickup on one of my 2 pickup guitars. gah!
still, i bet it plays nice.

Looks just like my Squier Duo, save the bridge pickup and cover. Mine was only $339 tax included.

yup. difference is, until they stop making the squier ones they'll depreciate, while the vintage ones will keep going up.... but unless you bought one for £200 in 1993 you're bumped. probably.
