I've cleared some stuff through on paypal and I'm now left with £27.41, approximately $50. Plz recommend something cool and guitar-related. I could just buy a 10-pack of d'Addarios and be practical, although I wouldn't mind a booster or delay or something. Surprise me!
Yes - the Vintage Delay, specifically. Bung a tenner in and get the superfuzz as well.

i'd go with the vintage delay and superfuzz combo. beringher make it affordable to try effects out without breaking the bank.
raise extra money by bumming people for loose change, my dad taught me that one

+2 on the Mike recommendation. His projects get more interesting as the weeks progress and it's great to watch someone so enthusiastic and passionate grow in their role. I was around during the early days of MI Audio and watching how it all came together and I must say it's encouraging to all observers (:

Dude, you made this and didn't stick it on tha forumz?? Or have I missed it?
If it was posted i also missed it, i also missed a good one for the RF-1 (i think done by Zaphod) and deadonkey's godin one so i was wondering in the same way we have a sticky for pictures of gear and stuff can we have a sticky for gear demos as well? Just so that they are easy to find because i am sure not everyone posts demos in the shortscalegeardemos group.

If I could remember the password for the SS demo account, I'd pass it on to Duo to upload to the group.. but I don't :/

Isn't the cool cat trem just a rehoused Tuna Melt? I have a Tuna Melt and I like it.
So you guys think I should go with the "vintage" delay as opposed to the digital delay?

Definitely: it's an analogue delay for £18 - if it was boutique, it'd be £100+. It sounds lovely, and makes great noises too. Watch Mike's demo, it's around here somewhere.

It's a great analogue delay, it depends what you want though, analogue isn't for everyone - if you want crisp stuttery Bloc Party sounds, you want a digital delay

I didn't post it cause the audio was really quiet - I was gonna fix it up today but ended up nursing a hangover instead.
