Dis spite james awesome deal on a mustang, I still think this is a pretty good deal for a mustang
(even if it is a copy). and you could mod it how you like with very little guilt.

That's very cool. What a great starting guitar that would make for a beginner.

Very and very.
The Mustang 65RI is £499 here ($1,000) online - around £600 in shops!
Second hand ones will go for ~£400/$800
Hell, second hand '69 RI's go for £350/$700
Shit is fucked up.

If I were one of you guys from the UK, when I came to america, I'd buy Fender guitars and take them back with me to sell on ebay...could probably pay for the vacation/holiday.

It's very true. I looked into prices in Canada but Mustangs (while cheaper than the UK) aren't as cheap as they are in the US. You better believe if I make it to the States next year I'll be coming home with a Fender.

That's it! MIEK! get a Fender from Musician's Friend shipped to Canada (though, I can't remember if they do that) to Joanna, she can bring it back and then youse can sell it and make up some if not all of the money from the plane ticket?

Unfortunately '65 Mustangs aren't available until the 8th September, the day Joanna flies back.
Cool idea though. :-/

Pfft.
It's not worth £250. I know it's the missing piece from your collection but that's way too expensive.

it's in 'merica. Would cost loads to ship, which is a shame.
You buy it, you ass. How much did you spend on that second Wilshire? If you saved some coin you could have Excalibur in a couple of months.

you wouldn't have to get a 65 mustang. just any guitar that you could sell here for a profit. then use the money you make to buy a 65. bit of a hassle, but it could work!
