IT'S A STRAT!

Seems very boring , except that it has a 12" radius neck. That's a bit flat for a strat, isn't it?

I'd like it if signature strats were actually interesting at all. It often doesn't stretch beyond coming stock with certain pickups. Sort it out Fender.

Oh look.

Anemic maple, rosewood, black and white. That picture wouldn't look any different in grayscale.

I've played the Clapton signature strat and that's actually pretty nice. The neck is terrific. Ultimately it's still just a strat though.

It's also something a little more than "off the shelf strat with new pickups"

That dick dale looks weird.
The gold has just stepped over the line into green.

It.. sort of works.

Stepping away from the Strats for a minute some of them can have a lot going for them. The Andy Summers signature is a hell of a long way from being just another Tele.

what number on the chart rob?
the cool thing about the dick dale is that its got some cool switches.
the reverese bridge pup.
reverse stock.
and i think it was his wish to have all of them sent out with 12's or 13's with rather high action, and i think its a vitnage 7.25 instead of the standard 9.25 or 10 for all the other sig strats.
and plus.
that color is TRULY unique.
fucking dick dale!

+2.

That Dick Dale Strat is definitely something that Fender should be doing more of! I dig it except for maybe the colour (but that's personal preference--I'd like to see that in a Fiesta Red type sparkle job tho!)
