Post by stewart »

vintage competition mustangs are like buses, etc...

wouldn't normally post something like this but thought the fact there's two of them up at the same time was worthy of an exception.

right handed one

lefty one (faded to green)

I like the lefty not only for the matching headstock and color, but also the oval tuners.

The left handed one definitely looks better... judging by the position of the finger rest, it was once set up for a right hander to play....

 Now I understand the meaning of "BONARZ". I'm saving my heart for an ocean turquoise one, but the price on the first one is good! And comp mustang bass is definitely on my agenda.

To bad though, because I wont snag one. I need a new Markbass head and a 4x10 next, and I still need to get a guitar pedalboard going...

I'm jonesing for an ocean turquoise comp 'stang bass as well... but how do we get our hands on them now that Fender has blocked the Japanese sellers from selling to us? If there's a way then I need to know!

Get an Alfredo. If you behave well, feed him, and let him fart at his heart's desire, your reward is a choice from a bass, jazzmaster, or shopping spree. 8)

There's only one Alfredo, though. What's his secret for getting them from Japan to our shores?

Not much of a secret, but all I had to do was get in contact with the website via email. This was about two years ago though so I don't know how much has changed.

I'll give it a shot. I've heard that Fender has really started enforcing their embargo on Japanese sellers, but I have nothing to lose by trying.

I've been looking on Ebay for a while, but I never see any Ocean Turquoise ones come up. Is there an Ebay Japan or something like it?
