the lowdown:
it is very good looking
good craftsmanship
neck is good
headstock looks great
lighter than the JM, you can really manhandle it
i am happy with the pickups clean and gained out
i was a little scared at first, the strings were mush, sound was bad----
i immediately threw 11's on her and it tuned right up and she plays great
this guitar is incredible for the price!!!!!
thanks for all the input and advice you guys gave me-------
what a deal
oh and switching to the shortscale is not an issue at all
i have no problem flashing that squier logo
my offset family is growing

this is the shortscale, not offset.
so for future reference refer to your collection as shortscales.
but im glad you dig it, the jagmaster is not a bad guitar at all for the money.

Tip:
use wire cutters to remove excess string length at the headstock.

Nice guitar, BTW!

tip #2: If you have to be that lazy, you can also coil them up into loops to keep them from poking out your eye :D

Yep, that's a Jagmaster 8)

For some odd reason whenever I put new strings on I have the urge to twist them until they break instead of using wire cutters. . . It's unexplainable.
