Lol I just asked my boss (who is a total guitar and gearhead as well) if he would give me a £25k bonus...
Unfortunately he said no...dammit.

How is it SO KLEEN? What is the brown dot on the headstock? I can't tell you how many of those I have seen. Was it part of the process?
I would have to learn to play it upside down a la Dick Dale.

Assuming it is genuine, is the price still crazy high? I would have thought $25,000 or so at the most

yeah, that's pretty high. if you notice that particular ebay seller (who has many aliases) tends to always price things high. judging from some of his feedback, he kinda seems like an ass, but he takes great pictures.

I'd much rather have
this. I wonder how many offers he gets for these overpriced things.

he blocked me from making offers after i low-balled him a couple of times.

I didn't even realise you could block certain users like that. Did you actually low ball him or was it more slightly less than market value?

i think i offered him $100 for a tweed bassman he had priced at $16000, which is about 3x what they're worth.
it would've been cool to have 'cause it had an ancient sticker from a music shop in my home town.
