I like my Digitech XP whammy wah. I've never played any other whammy pedal to compare it to, but I only really use it for one song anyway

More importantly, can anyone play the full Killing In The Name Of solo?

Yes. I learnt it in anticipation of buying my Whammy IV, and it's the best thing EVER to play. So satisfying.

Top marks for them. Great for solos. You can do so much with them, and when you play about you're sure to find some fun. Packed full of features. Try to snap one up for cheaper than the going BIN prices on eBay, and if you hate it, but it up for BIN and it'll go for sure. No loss. You can get the adapter you need from Maplin or somewhere, so fear not if the auction is without one (it takes 12v DC).

I loved mine. Sold it. Kinda wish I didn't. I used it mainly in the harmony mode and change the pitch of the riffs I played.

I loved glitching it as well. I think I could have done some funky things with the midi control.

i have the wh1, but to be honest, from the clips i've heard, the tracking isn't THAT much better than the wh4's, and the wh4's have midi, which can make for some good times. it's good for making weird noises that make people go "wtf was that?"

PS-5 over the Whammy, if you ask me.

-Standard power supply
-Seperate exp and pedal make it easier to fit in your setup
-Intelligent harmoniser
-Wet/dry balance control
-Better bypass

I guess the only downside is having to buy an exp. pedal as well, but they can be had from like £15-20 if you pick up the right Bespeco model.

OR, just get the Behringer version:
