I got these parts cheap..the neck had 3rd degree burns so I had to fill and paint. The body was abused.I filled the trem opening and the back to make a hardtail.
The color is "santa fe tan".Doesn't look anything like the pics.Looks a cream/tan IRL.Not sure what Electronics I will stick in it or the bridge I'll use.I have a gold strat hardtail in the bin.Thnx for PG Fran.I may put a single in the neck position.
Debating whether to do match HS or keep it black.
Still a lot of sanding and clearcoating to do.

I should have taken befor pics but I'm a dunce.I believe the body is a squier.not all too sure about the neck but it's probably a squier also. The headstock was burned around the lower part, had to use wood filler to make up for lost meat.
The neck is very comfortable so it was worth salvaging. As you can see someone butcher routed this thing.
Your opinions...Matching HS?

i'd leave it black. it looks a bit like the one fran was selling in the classifieds.

Aye, looks like a MIJ 'Contemporary' model with the black, i cant recall Fender or Squier ever dabbling with black on anything else except the MIK Pro-tone series.
I think a matching headstock would be kewl if you kept the rest of the neck black, cream on maple= gay.
NEEDS AN EMG 81 IN THE BRIDGE DUDE!!

I'm going to paint the HS to match. If it looks the shitz I can always hit it with black.
