A Burny Delight & Seoul market status

The local used market here (every Korean trades via www.mule.co.kr) has really been dead for a while, and kids aren't biting the bait like they used to 12 months ago. Considering how expensive new gear goes for...on the average 35% more than what we pay for stuff in the States, things are getting very cheap, much to the chagrin of frustrated sellers.

A rare Moollon Limited Edition Germanium Treble Boost won't sell at $200, a variety of really nice EBS bass pedals for $120, almost new CIJ '62 RI Strats down to $450, used Gretsch 6119s have finally broke the $1100 mark(never before over here) and a mint condition Moollon Narcis Fledge(tele style SS p'ups with the wings) has been up on the market for a while now at $1200 under street cost.

That said, there are a few Japanese gems(Edwards, Orville/Gibson etc.) that show up every now and then as well, not to mention this sexy original MIJ '80s Burny SG Custom that has been sitting there for $420 without a buyer. My bankbook began taking a stand after the 7-string Lester purchase, but it's nonetheless curious to see such pretty things make their lonely prance on the catwalk.

DEW WANT. I don't like that one strip of pickguard though. If it were black you wouldn't even notice it.

sg customs are way cool. that strat knob looks weird on there, though.

I like it - I've always been attracted to SGs. I think it's because they're so uncomfortable and inappropriate for my sound.
