Looks more like it's directed towards the traditional raga player than a guitarist, I myself (and a few other guitarists I know) have found it extremely uncomfortable to warm up to the sheer mass and diameter of a sitar's neck, and gave up pretty early.

I agree that it's the other "logical" option in the fusion zone, and commend the coolness.
