I'll give you a hint - "vanity plate"

A shame, I kinda like how he gave it a Jaguar look with the metal pieces.

*Edit* - fixed link, sorry.

the control plate looks like mirror plastic.
and call me crazy but i sear that switch plate in on top of the pickguard.
can anyone make out what the plate behind the bridge?
it would be kinda cool if the pics looked half decent and he showed close ups of the "customised plates"

...carefully removing the cheesy emblems and weak finish adding new OEM Fender Jazzmaster emblems...
cheesy emblems? putting a fender jazzmaster decal on a jagmaster is what's cheesy.

I think you're right. It looks weird as hell to me.

Wow. This is sad.
I wonder how much staring at this thing the guy did before he finally went like: " Fuck this shit, Man. Who the hell am I kidding?"
The plate looks like it reads "AGM Baggmaster custom" ... cause that's where it belongs. In a bag. By the side of the road.

lolz. I'm curious as to what the winner is going to do with it. Obviously you've got to get rid of the plate, the four screw holes will look better than that.

Absolutely hideous. Like RobOG said, those "plates" totally look like cheap mirrored plastic cutouts.

And the "tailpiece" with the engraving? Oh dear Lord almighty...

I'm off to attach huge metal plates to all my guitars for extra mojo.

Seriously, that thing defies taste and logic. Especially seeing as people have actually bid on it.

I guess there's a fine line between "OMG, it's worth that just for the neck/pickups" and "wadda douche."

I may as well point out that you can put this back to stock (or rock the double p94 style) with only the screw holes from the erroneous plate behind the bridge as tell-tales, and it's going for less than $200. It may even maintain a bargain price because it looks like it requires a cotton swab up the bunghole so they can narrow down a suspect.

i think it would be worth alot more if the plates matched jaguar plates and you could just switch them out, and if the dumbass had not used rail road spike to put in a worthless metal plate.
and i guess its cool that its engraved, but it looks like crappy tin, not polished or anything.
its still suspect that there are no "head on" shots of any of the mods except the decal shot.

Yeah, some of them look rippled too. Either mirror-finished plastic or really lightweight tin. That would explain why they could be on top of the original pickguard in those areas.

I wonder what this shot is supposed to prove...

Also, Jazzmaster decal on a vomit-fauxguar?

it proves that fake mojo goes vertical, and real mojo goes in circles.

Tragic. You cannot polish a turd. Wait a second.... No, it's still true. You cannot polish a turd. A Jagmaster is a great value, but I wouldn't buy that custom garage shop for fiddy dollas?
