I FOUND ON LINE I TOOK IT APART AND FOUND ON NECK THE NUMBER BURNT IN END JAN-64
Why does his picture of the date stamp so blurry, I wonder? As if he were using his "bigfoot" lens.

I wonder who read that and decided they were comfy bidding a thousand bucks. I can only imagine the balls. Massive, concrete balls.

That's a little scary. I wouldn't trust that guy to open a door let alone sell me a computer.

Even if I sign in it's still "off limits". Probably due to a post count limitation.

Offset is so lame.

Go to offset for a while, it should become apparent.

To be honest I don't quite get the dislike either - I've found offset to be quite a good group and there are some interesting projects on there. The classifieds / commercial forums need 50 posts, like the ones here do.

Anyway, long story short, guy posts guitar, negotiates with a few people, puts up a $699 BIN on it, people go crazy, two sales fall through, turns out guitar is a complete refin, no decals on headstock which was carefully kept out of photos, still looks somewhat like a deal, then gets relisted at $999 with a $1699 BIN, description is pretty coy saying "I think it's refinished" after describing the case, and then some quite odd "corrections" and bizarrely spelled e-mails to people ... all looks a bit dodgy.

It's all tongue in cheek, but they are uppity. They banned BobArsecake before he even posted for the crime of:

Registering as "BobArsecake".
