Thoughts on the Ampeg V4...

So I've been thinking about buying one recently and was just wondering if anyone had any opinions about them?

I used to have a VT-22. It's somewhat similar to a Fender sound, maybe a little more reedy and midrangey. It's definitely in the Fender camp, though.
